Meh, I prefer to use emoticons. I think that they are hilarious and under utilized.

Hate them. The better question is why women use them. Any of you ladies care to enlighten us? Originally Posted by TinMan

I mean, how many times have we begged for better location information, so we don't waste not only our time but theirs, as well?

Yeah, I know....

Or the miles of glitter/flowers/starry stuff in the title of the ad? Combine that with the title being all caps and I know it's gonna be a ad that looks like the entire smilies menu exploded. So no clicky and an easy choice to scroll down to the next ad.

When I see ads like that it just makes me think it's a younger provider <25. It's just what they do and it doesn't bother me at all.

I use them in my reviews. It's job security for the people creating them.

Looking on the bright side, it does appear less prevalent here than on BP, particularly among the VPs. I was checking ads this morning, focusing a bit more on the emojis than I typically do. It wasn't that bad...so kudos to most ladies who've figured out a little can go a long way.

back to the subject.. I remember a year or so, ago, I changed browsers, computers or something. I don't remember exactly, but all of a sudden I saw tons of these emojis in BP ads.. I was like, WTF? maybe they had been there, and were suppressed from my view before? anyway, it all looks like clutter, eye sore.. I vote #2 in the poll.

and get the Hell off my lawn!

I hate them. If I am scrolling through ads and see those in the title, I automatically assume BP girl, ghetto, pimped out. Whether right or wrong, that's where my mind goes. I don't even bother to check and see.

1 - the more emojis, spelling errors and street walker grammar - the more I know who to avoid.
