Reviews vs. Testimonials...

I have a friend who was doing prostate massages in her home city and the sheriff came after her with such a vengeance that she had to leave the state. Even though good lawyer might be able to keep "hearsay" from being used as evidence in court, and ultimately we all know the moral laws are unconstitutional, who wants to spend their hard earned money on a lawyer instead of other things? And there is a no guarantee you will get a good one, who has a chance to block the hearsay. Most of the are going to try to get you to plea bargain anyway, and it will never even come up. Any review system that puts the ladies at risk by making them a target is just plain wrong, unless said organization has a legal defense fund and a kitty set up to insure the women who are targeted as a result of the malicious gossip are secure and protected through the legal process. There is absolutely no reason why men cannot be more discrete about information sharing. Putting women at risk is wrong.

Since we are on the subject of testimonials, please all me to add good words for two outstanding ladies here, GingerLyn and Victoria. Love you both!

It is likely that the ladies have just a short period of time before the new encounter requirements are set in stone. You may want to form a concensus and propose a reasonable format to eccie management.

Unfortunately guys entering the hobby using sites like these are led by example. I have been one. The rest of the mongers have come to expect all the "juicy details" and will chastise those who don't provide them.

In our defense there really is no vehicle for posting testimonials unless a provider has her own website with a page for Friends, Testimonials, or a Blog. Were this OH2 there would be a section in the Provider's profile to handle that. Perhaps that is what's needed here but it would take up a lot of extra space on the servers (I think). Maybe if there were an option for a review or testimonial.

It's been a while (too long), but I've seen Miss V. several times. Here's my testimonial --

While I've never enjoyed the BCD pleasures of Ms. V's company, (been to cheap and I believe I was too fat), I have had the pleasure of her company at a few socials, and I've always loved her wit in posts she's made. She's one classy smart dame. As witnessed by the posts in this forum thread, as if there was a shadow of a doubt, she is well respected in the hobby community. A great example for how this hobby should be. I've met and been with others in her class, but she has a "sassiness" that attracts me like a moth to a flame. You go girl, with your bad self!

I like the concept of testimonials, the truthfulness of the ROS has always been in question anyways. A more discrete and respectful way of giving a thumbs up would be great.

I would take it a step further, and also recommend a provider testimonial of a client.That would help providers with screening.

I suspect you would see mostly positive testimonials, much like reviews have been.

Getting positive testimonials would be more difficult for the guys, as ladies will likely be more discriminating on writing them.
