Always a great time!! Thank you CK for the time and effort in putting this together. Organizing an event of this size takes lots of work and from what I saw, things went off without a hitch.
I enjoyed meeting some new friends as well as seeing some old ones.
Thanks for hosting a great party, CK. Even though I only made it briefly, it was a treat to see some of the creative costumes, reconnect with some old acquaintances and make some new ones. Keep up the good work!
This Hollow Weenie Social was a special one for me. I got to say goodbye to a lot of old friends and to also make some new acquaintances. I had a great time but there were a couple of people to whom I promised to exchange personal follow-up information but could not do so at the time. You know who you are so please text me so we can stay in touch. Thank you CK for another successful evening.
Had the best time ever at one of these events. To the ladies who spent time chatting with me, it was wonderful to meet you all.
So many good and sexy costumes ladies! The view was delightful.
CK you did your usual great job of putting this together. Thanks for putting forth what I know is a lot of effort.
Good to see some of the gents again, too.
There were just too many lovelies there to meet them all. That's always the challenge. I do have a list now of SA ladies to see. It may take a while, but having goals is a good thing.
This great get-together does not happen without extreme effort on the part of SA's most dedicated party organizer, "Father Ck". Thanks again for another outstanding "Halloweenie". All the ladies looked "mahvalous" as Billy Crystal says. Hope SF liked my impersonation.
Well, ck1942 will take a figurative bow and accept all the kudos, but, as I have said many times in the past and will continue to espouse....
... very definitely it is the dynamic of the individuals who attend these things that makes them so much fun and so very special.

All together, if my data set is as up-to-date as possible:
51 ladies, 64 gents (data includes some folks who were quite late to the main event and a few who could only make an after-party or two) -- by far the largest gathering in a few years. I think most ever in SA was either 124 or 127, also at an H W event.
Event ran from 5 p.m. and was scheduled to end around 10 p.m., and at that hour still nearly 50 people present and rocking!
Venue feedback, from my perspective:
At times our crowd simply overwhelmed the wait staff, and our three staffers were handicapped by an ice machine failure on top of people 5 and 6 deep at the bar at times.
Venue management will address and overcome these issues (uneven air conditioning being another problem; too many people in one space, and not in the secondary space plus more than a few people wearing very warm costumes!) so that our annual XXXmyASS (formerly known as XXX-mas) event can be accommodated.
Stay tuned for more info on November & December holiday events in SA and in Austin.

Since a few folks (both new to the event and from way way back when) had a question or two:
The M&G events have been open to all persons in our community ever since 2002. And, of course, guests from near and far.
Inclusiveness is not just a word in the dictionary.
All properly vetted and verified males, females, in-betweens, etc., are eligible, whether full service, non-full service, partial service and etc., who respect the rules may attend.
Social invite protocol allows vouched guests (member in good standing on a board, member not in good standing, or not even a member of any board (think UTR) to attend as long as they respect the social protocol rules and the screening process. Certain retired members get courtesy invites due to their past and continuing contributions.
While the social committees do pay attention to "board behavior" (ranters and ravers), unless the person violates (or we believe he/she would violate) the invite rules, he or she gets an invite.
The practicality of this aspect of invites sometimes has a very positive effect on members in need of perspective and guidance.
The upside of inviting ranters/ravers is that all of the ladies/gents get to meet him/her face to face and thus both providers and hobbyists get to make informed decisions.
Of course, all guests -- gents, ladies -- undergo periodic re-vouching. The social protocol also requires periodic attendance for a guest to stay on the "active" invite list.

I cannot say for certain that our invite and attendance protocol is anything unique, but it has worked since 2002. Been adopted/adapted by M&G organizers elsewhere, too.
I had a blast........Thanks ck for once again putting together one hell of a party!
