Provider Preferences

I generally have to plan ahead.....

I almost always have to plan ahead as well. Mostly because I need to arrange my excuse for being away from home in advance.

When one of my appointments is cancelled, I almost always have to spend the scheduled time away from home doing nothing. Not doing this causes my future "I will be gone" excuses to come under much greater scrutiny.

This is why I am not a fan of last minute cancellations. I am aware that sometimes life happens and the best laid plans often go awry. But repeated last minute cancellation offenders and anyone who does the dreaded NCNS on me land directly on my Do Not See list unless they offer me a very good reason to forgive their past transgressions.

As a touring provider 80% of the time..I prefer prebooks...but if you are a repeat and need short notice,I will try to accomodate.

I prefer the prebooks cause I know ahead of time if a city will be worth the visit..but usually I see mostly repeats so I book up fast with them first

Though the last big boar that I butcher, he was 800-pound, and he clearly expressed his intent that either he or I was going down. He was not giving me any other options.

I prebook and have a schedule set. Cancellations can allow a last minute plan B (depending on how much notice I have), but a NCNS generally means nothing happening that day. I will generally accept one cancellation from a provider, a second one will mean I never contact her again. Too many fish in the sea to tolerate nonsense.

I don't care what excuse is given for a cancellation or a NCNS. It's really none of my business what RW event got in the way, many times the excuse is BS anyway. RW does get in the way sometimes, that's why I can accept a cancellation. A NCNS is disrespectful, and therefore not tolerable. For this reason, I never NCNS a provider and only cancel with sufficient notice (in the years I've been hobbying, I only had to cancel twice and both times more than 24hrs notice was given).

I prefer bookings but I sometimes enjoy spontaneous visits from couples. Originally Posted by badgrrlbrenda

I get the guys who really can't pre-plan a visit due to work or can't get away from the domestic duties. That is when I tell them to at least pre-screen and get that out of the way for ease of booking later if I can accommodate. If your references are with clients and you are wanting within an hour or 2 of start time, they won't be able to get back to the request in time.
When I was hobbying more, it was almost always prebooking for me - it helped me (and whomever I was seeing) plan more in advance!

My one comment towards providers is that if you travel, try to let people on this or other sites know that you will be in town at least a week, if not several weeks, in advance. Specific dates aren't even necessary! Having that information would have allowed me the chance to arrange to see several people I was interested in over the years who happened to pop into town with no notice.
Prebook for me. I need to plan ahead, book a time to meet in advance. I have a couple of groups that I volunteer for and have to plan around them. Another issue for me is that while I am a very fit 56 year old I have Osteoarthritis in my hands, it is advanced enough that I have to take medicine. This is a big part of my advance planning needs as I have to not take the meds for 8-12 hours before as the meds seem to effect "Mr. Happy".

Lately I have had to incredible misfortune a series of last minute cancellations from one St. Louis lady. I confirm the day before follow up confirm the day of then... She last min cancels on me.

Pre-book, please. I work, I might not be available at the drop of a hat.

Prebook??? Mehhh!!

If I'm reaching out to you, odds are I want some pussy now, especially if we're already in the same city. All this 3-4 day wait shit, or a week? Pfft! Hell, I don't even know what I want to eat for lunch tomorrow. How am I supposed to know if I'm going to be in the mood at 3pm next Tuesday??

As for Touring I like the pre books to get the screening out of the way and last min as well just takes more time to get the screening done so if your in rush it's best to pre screen either way ,, If we had the chances to play before then last min is just as fun .
