Is there really a line between Making Love and Having SEx?

touche. sometimes the illusion of making love is just as good as the real thing. Originally Posted by Luxury Daphne

Another way you can discern the difference between having sex and making love is this:
You made love to your girlfriend before you married her. You have SEX with your wife.

One is more obligatory, the other is more passion, one pleases the other more so than one's self, the other leaves both so satisfied and wrapped up in contentment that all they want to do is just lay there staring at each other gazing in awe at their partner's sex drive.

If you want to get real technical about it, you don't MAKE love. Love just happens. You can be in love and not be having sex.

You HAVE sex. How much emotion you put into HAVING sex and how much you allow yourself to feel emotion while you are HAVING sex is entirely up to you.

Now here is a tricky question. Can I make love to a provider while she is only having sex with me?

Lines gets crossed in the hobby world all the time. Whether people admit it or not is another thing.
Sorry to say this...and I'm usually not one to make rude comments but....

This might just be the stupidest fucking question I've read so far on the board. Originally Posted by TheDogger

So if this thread's definition of "making love" requires the two people to feel the same way about each other, then it probably never happens in the hobby. I suppose it might happen in the case of someone who just briefly tried the hobby and quit to pursue other lines of work or study and a relationship that had developed while "working". Even that would probably be very rare.

My earlier post in this thread was addressing the more simple situation--where for a moment both sides feel an emotion going along with the embrace and sex. In other words, is she really into this, or just thinking about the clock and the fee, and possibly, about "feel good" physical pleasure?

Lots of times, in the middle of sex, my mind is feeling some real tenderness, and maybe even "love" for the woman (if she is one of my regulars)--and I hope (but usually don't believe) that for the moment she has some similar feelings. This is true even though a few minutes later we are each ready to go and get on with our own separate lives.
Hell, I don't know nothing, but they are so "Dang Good", but "passion" has a very hgih pice

I was in love once to a girl named old Besy. She was my second car.A 66 Candy Apple Red Mustang when I was 16.I wrecked her but got another 66 Candy Apple Red Mustang I named old Betsy.I was around 25 but when she broke down on me.She just didn't fill the void anymore from the first one so I sold her.In reality my daughter was born around that time and my priorities had changed drastically towards her. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bt3g2tMo3YI

that fairy tale head- over- heels stuff is highly overrated in my opinion. I would rather truly and genuinely love someone for themselves, philia if you will combined with a little lust, than be temporarily "in love" with someone who I deceive or am deceived by any day of the week... one fades, the other does not

HA.. i remember a guy a few months back was leaving after an hour or so of play with me...he kept staring into my eyes and on his way he hugged me and said "you know there's more to sex than just fucking"
i laughed and replied "ya but i don't like any of that other stuff!"
(just sayin...there's a diff between 'making love' and "dirty sex" ...my choice is DIRTY SEX)
