Sounds like he was speaking specifically about 1/2 hr rates

And he is correct, there has been an increase in 1/2 rates for
many girls, used to be close to half the price of full hr and now
is very often only about $50 less.

I would speculate that it may be because a lot of guys try

What kills me is the newbies with no history asking for 300hr- some of them mention non-gfe- but at the end of the day they can charge what they want and the buyer can refuse- that's the way capitalism works.
