But I'll change my statement to something more accurate.
In this case an elected official "the Racine County Sheriff" with the power to arrest and recommend for prosecution did neither. No arrests were made, no subpoenas were delivered, no charges of any kind were filed and no one was fired or removed from office. All we have here is a press statement. i.e. unsubstantiated rumors.
This isn't news, it's political speech designed to inflame the readers and to rationalize the existing belief in the "Big Lie"
