Provider Poll: Intense Competition--so, move to Houston

Anytime I posted inquiries in the Houston forums, there was never any expressed interest. I might as well have been talking to myself.

If someone wants to meet, they can manage to find a way to Dallas.

H-town guys should treat potential visitors better.

I grew up, lived, went to school and worked in Houston. It's the stinking, hairy armpit of the state; namely too humid, too many cockroaches, too spread out, too many gangs, too much crime, too much traffic, too flat, too prone to floods, storm surges, power failures and (this is hard to believe) politicians so f_cking stupid that (as Charles Barkley used to say) none of them could spell CAT even if you spotted them the C and A!

Granted, there's a wonderful mix of heritages and some incredible areas that have a distinctive ethnic feel about them but when you can only open your windows twice a year b/c of the 90%+ humidity and need a boat tied to the roof to row away from your flooded homes during hurricane and rainy season why the HELL would you want to live in Humidston? All cities have idiot politicians. If they were not idiots they would be making real money in the private sector. All cities have crime. All cities have bugs, if you live in the Gulf Coast area you have bugs.

The humidity in Houston keeps the women hydrated and young. Houston is easy to get around, just read the signs on the freeways.

Houston is a city to be passed through when driving to another destination....been doin' that my whole life. I've met a lot of really interesting and fun people from there though. Prefer visiting with Houstonians here at home in Dallas.
