Since the 1900s we've had 2 real 3rd party candidates.
The first was teddy Roosevelt with the bull moose party. He's a hero of mine but his doing so running against the incumbent and ex friend gave us Woodrow wilson.
The second was perot taking many votes from Bush Sr that gave us clinton.
Be careful what you wish for. Those 2 men who benefitted from a 3rd party; Wilson and Clinton. Do we want to repeat those mistakes?
