Jay Walker objects to my Characterization In the Welcome and Introductions Forum

Jay may have meant well but there were a few things to consider. He booked a room for the young lady. Posted her as a "non member" which was reprimanded by Spacemtn. I would consider these things an act of a pimp. I'm not saying he is but:

By dictionary definition: Pimp - a person, esp. a man, who solicits customers for a prostitute or a brothel.

Like I said, it may have been an innocent mistake but "technically" you were acting as a pimp and Space was right no matter what the publics personal view or opinion of one is. The definition and actions match.

I have one question......by calling him a pimp does that constitute an infraction on your end Space? I've seen other posts where guys would "promote" ladies. I agree that he may have not been in the right forum for what he did, but at the same time he was called a "pimp" so I'm just curious how that works.

I think he could be labelled a pimp if he was making a profit from promoting her.

If he is not then I would say he is not.

There is no rule about telling the truth and by dictionary.com's definition of the word pimp, his post would appear to qualify for the label. Do I wish I had handled my post differently, absolutely!!! But hind sight is always more accurate, isn't it?

I think that the important takeaways, are:

-I broke a rule by introducing a non member,
- Space labeled me as he saw it, yet granted me with an opportunity to rebut his comments.
