Anybody convicted of trafficking a child for sex purposes should be given the death penalty.

"Separate but equal" was an absurd concept during the civil rights movement. Keeping child predators away from the general population, in prison, should be viewed the same way. Being held separate makes their time easier. Convicts know how to deal with these people better than our judicial system.

How many women would consider prostitution if they knew that the police wouldn't charge them with a crime?

Not totally correct, I had a close friend who worked in the administration of Edwards successor, but also knew Edwards fairly well. Edward's was a ladies man, who once said 2 weeks before an election that the only way he would lose was to "get caught in bed with a dead woman or a live boy". Was stationed in Germany. Prostitution is legal there and it is regulated by the government. The fact that it is legal and open drives the price down. It is also taxed and there is no need for pimps. I definitely think it should be legal here. For 50 euros you could spend 30 minutes with an incredibly beautiful woman. I am one of the many who have posted before that I strive to avoid seeing a provider that has even a hint of a pimp around.

This topic of legalization fascinates me, though I'm not well versed on it. Thanks all for sharing about it; points I never considered both in pros and cons.

One thing I've always been curious of is whether legalizing the hobby would also put it into an area where discrimination against a particular race, say the well known NBA policy of many girls, or against any group or John in general, would result in criminal or civil action. Say a fine, or the ability for a John to sue a provider or some other penalty, or whether the govt. would regulate it much differently than any other business.

Just always been curious of how much a legalized system would change some things clients and providers take for grant now...
