Where do you draw the line

Gentlemen, there is no need for such hostilities, let's get back to the discussion of accidental corporate voyerism. Who here likes the idea of a Big Brother making pornos of you? Originally Posted by Daen1304

There are just SOME things are to be expected... video recording at banks, in malls, at the airport, in strip clubs, and modeling studios. The videos are for security purposes (or so I would like to beleive) and I think most owners of strip clubs and modelling studios are very careful to guard against any accidental release of their surveillance tapes. I think it would be wrong to show off the collection to others. But if a friend of mine were to come to me and say, "Hey S- I saw a video of you doing X", I'd immediately know my friend was probably engaged in the very same activties. Personally, it would not bother me . . .now if it ended up on the internet, I'd expect a royalty payment.
Agree the question is; does sharing the video with someone that has no real business looking at it cross the line. Would you feel comfortable doing business with a establishment that does share video with people that have no business looking at the video.
The vids in question were not of sessions, nor are there cameras in the rooms the sessions are done in, so if you are a voyeur, then you would be very upset. All I saw was a car of a provider, her getting out of the car with her "things" going inside, there is a camera in the back and I saw her in the hallway. BTW, this provider stated in this other thread that she was not there. I questioned the owner, and she showed me the images, with the time and date stamped at the bottom. I work there on a part time basis doing pics for the girls. With the owner's approval, I have offered any one of the mods, and he has to be mod, to meet me up at the establishment and view the same thing I did, but they would have to log on the computer, so we know he is a mod, then once he sees the images I saw, then he has to write in an open forum what he saw. So far, I have not had a mod take me up on that offer. For all you guys, like the OP, that do not even go to studios to see providers, especially this one that has been open for over a year, I do not know how that would be relevant as you would not be going up there anyway regardless, you just want to stir up shit, I think this site has enough of the shit stirrers and suspect theorists on it already without you addition.
Hell no. I would never do business there again. Or start doing business there. It does not matter what they are recoding or where at their establishment. In this case, I PMed SW aking them to claify what is recorded and why they would show the tape to anyone, friend or employee or not, when there is no compeling business reason. No response. I guess they don't care about protecting their customers privacy.

Whether or not the video cameras are used solely for security purposes, how many businesses would allow a non-employee/non-vendor access to those video feeds? Furthermore, it is suggested that another non-employee, in this case someone who moderates a bulletin board, to view these same feeds?

A lot of blah about what! one provider saying she's not there anymore and someone else saying she is! who gives a crap? I'll go there because the gals are hot! and I see no danger. shit, Walmarts got me on camera everytime I go there. most places do. If you can stand it look at my mug every day!
its not the fact there are cameras in public areas. It's the release of that information to someone who has no legit business need to see it thats the real issue. You really want someone else knowing your business? If the studio gives out your personal info what else are they doing?
