Irrelevant of the actual outcome. Trump claiming that he wins before 270 electoral votes are finalized.

But this time around, he's a private citizen. He has no idea how limited his menu is in 2024.

He's going to lose. Maga will do their best to start Civil War 2: Electric Boogaloo, and we'll spend another year or so recovering from damage caused by history's biggest traitor.

But at least he'll be out of our political lives forever after next week.

I sure hope that rockets and bombs aren't used... but you know, if they come and they appear armed, we need to protect our lawmakers (unless GPS indicates that they are in the crowd this time, again!)

PANIC!

What kind of fun, Donald?

The same kind of fun you had with Epstein?

If the Dems are in PANIC mode is for nothing but MAGAs freaking out, then the MAGAs in PANIC mode thread is about the dems... laughing at the idiots while waiting for their time to run out LOL

Except the lottery or whatever it is that Musk is doing is perfectly legal, otherwise he wouldn’t be doing it. Musk is smarter than the entirety of posters on this forum combined, you can bet he had a team of lawyers look at it before proceeding. Originally Posted by Jacuzzme

Ask the attorneys who are going to be facing the music in GA and NV for voting law infringements. Disbarred Guiliani, the Kracken lady and others have FA&FO. Attorneys are easily bought to give/ lend credibility to a idea or legal challenge. Many have been effective and many found lacking and some found in contempt. Ask Avenatti- who is also a fraud, which means, being a lying corrupt attorny knows no political affiliation, but it shows that these ppl who passionately take up legal processes and break the law in the process, can ultimately face the music.

Hopefully-Musk's ppl will find out that soon also.

I think there is currently an investigation of that process and there is several scholars who are saying- "Not so fast Musky".

Election law experts have questioned whether it violates federal law barring payments for votes. Musk has cast the money as both a prize as well as earnings for work as a spokesperson for the group.

I think it will likely either be ruled a fringe infraction, but will likely be another thing that gets a law associated to it. Imagine if that is ruled as being ok, what the future of elections will be like? Imagine mega lotteries by all the PACS that support a group and then the messaging and gathering of votes, with the anticipation of getting a fat check to attend and to vote- clearly it's going to be one that is attended and inciting voting by having something to gain- financially when doing the same!

Is it illegal?- well, I'll defer to the courts. But if it isnt'- it fucking A should be. Either way- It will be some icing on the cake of watching dumb dumb donnie- getting handed his hat while he has a lemming like Musk carrying his water. Could it be the beginning of the end of Musk and his touch on business and politics?

Some ppl need to be taught that the loss of their money, is just part of the legal process. Breaking laws, or bending them come at a cost- like spending some time in Club Fed.

Any reasonable person who sees someone doing illegal shit, would want them to get locked up. No matter who the person doing the illegal shit is.
But MAGAs will never want to see one of their MAGA comrades be locked up for doing illegal shit! Originally Posted by onawbtngr546

For example Nobody said if Hunter was found guilty, that he shouldn't face the music, it was more of proof that he is guilty vs. innuendo. He made a choice- and decided to plead guilty finding vs facing a full trial and probable longer sentencing, and that's fine, because guilt is guilt, and so is punishment. That said, everyone who's facing the music of federal and state violations of laws, can take a chance on a trial or plead if it makes sense. Gambling with that and you're looking at bigger possible penalties.

The outrage is even higher related on election laws and violations. Attorneys shouldn't / can't be a scapegoat for candidates or someone simply saying "I relied on that persons judgement", when candidates and non-attorneys are driving that narrative.

It simply means, if you can buy an attorney willing to take the hit for you, you can say and do anything you want- as they will simply face either a fine or disbarment. That's not right either.

These clearly overt actions and attempts to defy laws, need to hold people accountable and we ALL should want to see elections be held to legal standards of a courts ruling, vs. only the ramblings of attorneys and allow law breaking to occur under the guise of bad advice.

That's fucking horseshit.
