Is A Cheap Hotel A Turn-Off?

And to stay on topic, I agree on all posts here that decent area and a motel 6 is okay with me. I've been to a crappy area and a crappy motel 6
and it was very very sketchy. I was in one in another city in the suburbs and it was fine.

why get a motel 6 when you can priceline & hotwire a 3 to 4 star for same amount??

Have you looked in to renting an apartment? You mentioned 3-5 appointments per day and I know you said you're not that popular but a day like that would pay the monthly rent and then some. Providers here in Dallas have some really nice 1-2 bedroom apartments for $800-$1100 per month. $26-$36 per day.

If you don't average over 7 appointments per month it may not be for you, though.

A cheesy hotel makes me feel cheesy and nervous, so it does make a difference. However, Austxjr's advice is great and even applies to more expensive hotels. Candles, low mood music, clean towels, and toiletries tells me that you care about giving a quality experience and that makes you more desirable both in the short term and beyond.

So dress up the drab in-call and emphasize that you'll upgrade when your "practice" becomes more lucrative. They will get the hint.

Because so far when I bid on 3-4 star hotel in my area for $39.99 a night it says I lost the bid and to raise it. If I bid on a 1-2 star for $39.99 a night I get a hotel that looks worse than the Motel 6 I'm eyeballing.

The Days Inn down the road is a trucker stop and looks like crack heads stay there, while the Motel 6 on the other side of town is right next to a Marriot and looks pretty nice for the cheap price.

I get 3-5 appointments in a WEEK (if it's pay week and the other providers haven't kidnapped them to NWA by then). I never get anywhere near that amount in a day.

I do very well off my 7 to 8 calls a week and always stay at 3 star or better........I have NEVER paid over 70 bucks for a 3 to 4 star hotel.......I can easily stay in a 3 or 4 star in Dallas or new Orleans for under 60!......sometimes ya gotta spend money to make money

I don't do incalls mainly because I'm not popular enough to have 3-5 dates a day to make the "high end" incall space worthwhile. I have had a few requests for incalls but had to turn them down.

I have been eyeballing some places locally but most of them for a price I can afford seem like they would turn a guy away quick. Of course one of them is Motel 6 (they have flat screens!) and something called Budgetel. Nowhere near the Marriot or Hilton.

Like described above, you don't have to stay at Four Seasons, Ritz, any boutique hotel etc, but there are plenty of extended stay type places in most markets with reasonable rates.

When I play locally with local girls, I will not get a room. I always insist that the lady get the room. I usually tell her that I will reimburse her for the room and then suggest a few hotels on the cheap. I call and ask the hotel to confirm their rate. That way I bring only enough cash to cover donation and the room rate that I had confirmed. Never had a problem with this. As for girls who offer incall or are touring, I just assume they have built the price into their rate.

I already upped the price a little for incalls to cover the room. We'll see what happens. I'm not to be compared to other chicks. Just because one girl can stay in fancy hotels working one job a week doesn't mean I can. Compared to the girls that roam the forums I charge less than them. I could charge top dollar and stay at the Marriott but the rooms look just as good as a Days Inn minus a few bells and whistles.

Ill see if things change, if not I will just stick to doing outcalls. Those guys seem nicer right now.
