Iphone has a new feature: "do not disturb". Well it's not really new but before you could only apply it to all contacts or none. Now you can apply it to individual callers/texters. In the text thread up by the person's name click "details" then swipe on the do not disturb feature.
Problem solved, stop picking on the OP and go play with your iPhones boys.
