LCD or Plasma

Bought a Philips 46PFL5705D/F7 46-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LCD HDTV with NetTV. Easy to set up workd great but going to have to update my Dish network box to HDTV. Fine except for action shots not too clear. Lot's of bells and whistles. Looks great in Daylight and night with low light.

You will find "artifacts" or the blocky&blurry stuff because of compression from the broadcast source. I tend to think Time Warner compresses too much, hope satellite is better.
