If you were sitting underneath all the action would you make the same assumption? Also, I don't care what the drone was doing or who it was doing it for (a local photographer) but I am concerned that two objects cannot occupy the same space at the same time without bad consequences. Don't you remember the story about the Air Italia flight that saw a drone in very close proximity over JFK in New York. If your plane is hit it doesn't matter who was in control or their reasons for having a drone up in the first place.
depends on the drone and the plane ... planes hit birds of all sizes on a regular basis, not too many people killed as a result either ... not that I'd want to risk it, just sayin'
