No point to conservatism anymore

Case in point - how is gay rights historically consistent with conservative values? The term conservatism is useless - there is nothing worth conserving that has been enacted over the last thirty years - it has been a liberal steamroller. Conservative political causes over the last thirty years have consisted of defending the old status quo and losing every time.

Liberalism has won - there is nothing left to conserve unless you want to maintain the liberal gains.

Why do you consider yourself a conservative? What old time American value do you wish to reclaim?

Deficit spending is permanent.

Immigration is completely changing the country.
