I was just asking because there are a couple of guys who I asked if they googled me or not, and they didn't... Me personally, I rather a guy do the research on a lady, before he meets her..

No question in my mind that you did the right thing. You got uncomfortable with what you observed and telephoned the provider who confirmed she knew there was a quy in the parking lot and that she was connected to him in some way??? Chances are high that he was either LE or there to do you no good. I think you did dodge a bullet.
