Last year's accc (alamo city comicon) was great, so was austin's wizardcon, this year's should be even better. lots of great celebs coming. Went to Houston's earlier this year for third time. spectacular, 4 doctor who's, kenzie from Lost Girl, others.
Austin has amelia pond, companion to Doctor Who ( austin only one of three cities in america she's coming to)
San Japan was in SA, looked fantastic.
Sorry work going to keep me away from accc and austin's wizardcon this year.

Heh. I have a LOT of friends who cosplay, and never quite could find a look which called to me. That is until about two weeks ago. I am starting to work on my first outfit.

I'm thinking about going either Saturday after work (if I'm working overtime that morning) or Sunday. I'm working on a costume, but it won't be ready by then.

I didn't go to the first ACCC... only had one person that I would want to see. Will definitely be going to this one though. Great mix of guests.
Good thing too. Ive been to Wiz World Austin every year since it started... this time around it will have the least amount of people I want to see.
Adding to SMS 918s post... Karen Gillan was SCHEDULED for Austin, but she cancelled. Figured she might once her new comedy got picked up as a fall series. She was the one I wanted to see the most, wanted to get a pic of her as Nebula (I hated Amy on the new Doctor Who). Stephen Amell was supposed to attend, but cancelled too. Lots of people cancelled for the con.
If it wasnt for my two favorite Charmed Ones being there, I would skip it this year.
Also not looking forward to dealing with the droves of teen girls that will descend on Austin... they are having that FAM tour just like they did here for Wiz World SA. Sigh.

Thanks I don't feel have as bad as I did having to miss austin. Haven't paid much attention since realizing I have to work.

ACCC is supposed to way better organized this year. Last year was their first and they never expected that many people. Glad I had pre-bought vip passes. Didn't have the lines to get in like others.

Yes I think I am gonna dress up. Was thinking of goin to dress as Green Ranger or even the megazord. I got VIP meet an greet tics to see the green/white ranger. Lol.
