If no one will have physical access to your PC then why do you feel the need to change your password?
Advice: Use Firefox the Browser rather than Internet Explorer
If your Password is a word from a dictionary then that would be relatively easy to crack.
Want to create a tough password?
Use your three initials of your name or any easily remembered initials
Then use a symbol like a '#' number sign for an example
Ever had an employee number? use that
So your password will look like this: ndm&13636
If you feel the need to write it down
do like this: 63631&mdn
I would like to thank every one who TRIED to help. I did get my problem resolved. As to your question instfixer the reason why I would change my password is because my son sometimes downloads games. I would have to enter my pw to give permission to download. I would change it just to make sure he did not see it because I like to have complete control over what he is downloading. I also have certain files on my user that I obviously dont want him to have access to. His user is under parental control and I intend to keep it that way.
Audrina, I helped out a provider in Houston once with keeping her "life" hidden from her kids. The ideal way was he got a desktop PC and she got a laptop (she bought a laptop and gave him her desktop once it had been reset)

Some things you never want to explain and this way when she went out on errands and such, the laptop would go with her.
