Dining in Dallas!

Just a couple of suggestions: Love and War in Texas (Plano - great food, excellent live music, all with a Texas theme); Twisted Root (Deep Ellum in Dallas - best gourmet burgers in the state).
If you want something other that the formula menu at a restaurant chain outlet-----
Galleria Area: "Chamberlains Steak and Chop House" at 5330 Belt Line. or "Chamberlains Fishmarket Grill" at 4525 Belt Line are both outstanding.

Just a few blocks east of the west end marketplace area is "Stephen Pyles" at 1807 Ross, which offers a unique menu. If you are into steaks, the Cowboy Ribeye is a phenominal experience. They also have a unique item on the desert menu called a Heaven and Hell Cake.

Nick and Sams is always a good choice. Best Italian and pizza is Sfuzzi uptown. But looking for a dining experience that only "Dallas" has to offer a must is dining at the top if the ball. It's gorgeous and overlooks the whole skyline. Also downtown there is a steakhouse named Dakotas. You will only see the valet stand but they take you to a very elegant dining area under the busy streets of down Dallas. Tell me what you try! Best of luck!
