Higher numbers are not good it increases the odds of deaths, basic probability. Originally Posted by beelzebubba

I think if the vaccines are as effective as flu vaccines 30% it’s basically not gonna work.

Thankfully the doctors are figuring out how to keep more alive. Originally Posted by beelzebubba

Not explaining again it in another thread.

Summary: if the virus runs its course while in lockdown, it’s gone if you don’t let travel bring it back in.
Those that will die... die, but our economy doesn’t suffer after it rebuilds.

Minimal steps not a long walk thru the years.

Basically a lot of it is still guessing.

My personal position is that we don't tell people what to do, let people decided what to do on their own property, and advise people who have compromised immune systems or those that simply fear catching it to stay cloistered. Those that want to go back to normal and accept the risk can do so.

Need the Regerneron and the vaccine before you can open things back up.

Everyone overlooks the fact that your constitutional rights end where other peoples begin.
Run into a theater and yell fire because that’s what you feel like doing.
Guarantee you end up in jail for at least 6 months.

This is why you are a selfish.
I guarantee the second you start having problems breathing your ass will call.
And if you are really not smart enough to... you will die.
Everyone else seems to be able to get transport to a hospital.
Maybe ask yourself why you wouldn’t be able to?
Just about every story is the same, they’re sick, they start having problems, and they call an ambulance or have someone take them.
Even Trump was smart enough to make it to a hospital.

You want to live a life... but it doesn’t seem you are competent enough to do so without help.

Maybe that can get us off the topic of trying to appeal this "life is precious" idea.

Well your life is definitely not precious... so why not just get to dying already?

Ok you get in a car accident snap your spine and eviscerate your intestines on the highway. (It’s not gonna kill you for a couple days)
How long do you wish to lie there suffering when there’s not an ambulance to pick you up because someone infected by a selfish piece of shit has called because they can’t breath, and they were smart enough to use a phone?
