In my day, costumes were custom made. I was able to save enough for an original Heddy Jo Starr custom costume, before she moved to Vegas to make costumes on the strip.

I don't hang out in strip clubs and always heard that dancers rarely make good providers. Oddly, two of the best providers I know were former dancers. Perhaps the most important word there is former? Maybe I've been lucky in that regard.

I have scheduled with a young lady I met at the Hollow Weeine party to go shopping at Victoria's Secret. Next Thursday looks like a wonderful time with the young lady. Strip clubs have never been on my bucket list. Why in the hell would I want to spend a bundle on a no touch lap dance. The last strip club I went to was full of blacks and I did not feel welcome with some of the looks I got. Perhaps they thought I was going to run off with one of the dancers.

Some east coast quite a while back, couple out of Wichita, and several out of Houston.
Some are retired and onto another life path (interesting to bump into a friend haven't seen for a while and just catch up).
Some still in the game.
Perhaps I'm wrong, and I'm sure that gals will correct me if, but I've noticed that a gal that can convert a stripper stage presence into a provider IOP can do well.

Stage presence... As a dancer I was never the Barbie Doll hard body type, nor was I much of a hustler... As someone who was a professionally trained dancer from childhood, my stage sets were a bit different than most and drawing the crowd into my act and interacting with them was always a big part of it. In those regards, I never really 'fit in', but I did have fun, lol. What I DID have going for me was an ability to read people, find common ground and talk to just about anyone. I only ever sat with and danced (privately) with maybe two or three people per night as a result, but I still did pretty well. I completely understand the lady who mentioned her shyness. That is me, too... but I learned early that when I was naked I could hide behind my boobs and everything from there would be ok, lol. To this day, I am more confident talking to people when naked than I am clothed (although years of practice have made it so I can comfortably do both)... So yes, those traits have definitely served me well...

A question I have always wondered. In RVN we would buy the bar girl Saigon tea and it was supposed to be whisky but it was just tea. I always kept the shot glass. I have wondered what percentage of the money the girl gets is split with the club. If I get a lap dance how much does the club get. I know that working as a provider must pay better unless she is supporting a "friend".

I've been dancing since I was 5 years old. And I am still dancing now and frequently perform. :-) Obviously not the kind that you guys think. I have never been a stripper/exotic dancer...too shy.
