Hehe. There's a huge difference between a White Knight and someone sticking up for a friend, that was also acknowledged to have been in the hotel at the time. It would only be speculation, but it does appear that they are working together, and as such it comes off a little differently than a white knight.
That being said, she wasn't there at the time and can't know all the details, but I'm guessing is giving Erin's side of the story as told to her. Again, hearsay, but understandable.
And given that Diddler isn't as well known as some other old-timers and Erin is relatively new to the area, it appears that we merely have a couple of small pieces of the puzzle but not near enough to make out the whole picture. I think in time more info/input from either (or both) will start to lend a clearer picture of what to expect in the future. Until then, I'd still be interested in learning more about her, but I'm also cautious enough not to jump right away!
