Her father and her uncle both were in politics and her brother Mitch is the current Mayor of New Orleans. There's lots of money and power that surrounds her. McAllister ran to the left and won easily. He disagreed with Bobby Jindal's choice not to expand Medicaid for the state, and came out in support of ACA's Medicaid expansion provisions.

60-fucking-40. BTW -- Romney carried that district by 23 points last year.
