Sweet! I'm going to down load this app!
If you use dr on demand, you don't have to leave your house except to go pick up your meds. I've used them before and it was SO convenient. Either way, I hope you get to feeling better Originally Posted by Jessica Jade

If you can wait until 5pm, I just googled this -

Well it's going to be a while. Waited FOUR hours and doc didn't give me any meds. Said it would go away on its own. Ugh.
Btw that clinic is primarily for residents of Dallas county. They gave me a sheet for all of the DFW clinics. Will snap a scan and post it up after I get home.
Well. That's a good thing!
America is known for over doing antibiotics which can hurt us in the long run.
Lots of juice and pee it out!
Wait until you go to Australia, they have chemists over there so you just go to the drug store and they will tell you what to get. They have so many medicines OTC that cure common things.. They don't give antibiotics for half of the things that we do. I got strep while over there and they said, "use this mouth gargle." I did. It was amazing. I bought five more and brought them home with me.

Good luck!!!!
Went out drinking this last weekend and was sharing a drink with someone who failed to mention they had strep throat. Now I feel like crap and can't work.... I mean I could, but I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy so there's no way I'm sharing it with a client. I just saw my doc last week for a checkup so now I'm short on cash and they want a full visit to give me meds. Anyone know of a cheap clinic around that won't charge me an arm and a leg just for a simple script of antibiotics? Originally Posted by honeydavis

this further supports the claim lol

Ummmmm, you could have maybe PMed that, yes? We should all get tested for everything all of the time, but geez.... I don't know, I just feel a PM would have been maybe a little more appropriate in this situation. No need to publicly link a handle and all of that crap together.

You can go to the neighborhood Family Clinic, these are not expensive at all and they will help you......

First of all go see a Dr an get tested don't just assume you're in a business where STD's are transmitted on a regular basis an what you're trying to do is one reason why. $100 is too much for your health really!!

I know it sounds crazy; but stick with me. First off, THIS WILL NOT BURN. If you don't swallow, the pepper doesn't get in your throat, and just gargling then spitting it won't get on your tongue. Also, the pepper will never dissolve or mix with the water.
So you get the water, pour in the pepper. Stir it up, then pour into your mouth to gargle. Be sure to keep your eyes closed, as if you gargle too enthusiastically and some gets in your eye, you're boned. Gargle gargle gargle, spit, repeat a few times.

Enjoy no more sore throat.
