I wonder how many of you have seen the Mel Brooks play (or movie) The Producers?

A better phrase is people living in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. But Barley always has a 1 sided view of the world, bashing democrats.

In recent memory Hillary takes the cake for this sort of behavior. Originally Posted by VitaMan

You're trying to hijack this thread. Be warned! This is about Beto. Originally Posted by the_real_Barleycorn

It would be interesting to jump into why our opinions of McConnell differ, but that's not going to happen, because it has nothing to do with The Producers or Irrestible or Beto O'Rourke.

The following is not necessarily directed to you Barleycorn. You guys need to stop RTM'ing each other at the drop of a hat. It must make the moderators' job more difficult. And more importantly some of the best posters, like Lusty Lad, Bambino, Winn Dixie, Eccieuser, and Chung Tran are either banned or afraid to post here because they're afraid they'll get banned. This place is a lot less interesting as a result.

Same could be said of Trump now. Originally Posted by WTF

What RTM? I'm making the point that the moderator has been acting hastily when it comes to charging thread hijacking.
My other point is that Beto is a grifter. He has no intention of winning an election. His is the model of a con man. He runs, he raises money, he scrapes some money off until next time, and the democrats own the process. It's looking like the same can be said of Stacey Abrams. Sad state of affairs for the democrats.

Why is it that when I open the dictionary and look for the defintion of "grifter" a picture of Donald Trump appears?

"Former U.S. President Donald Trump raised $250 million in donations in the weeks after the November 2020 presidential election for an organization ostensibly intended to fund court challenges in support of his false claims that the election was fraudulent. Instead, he directed that money to an unrelated political action committee, or PAC, according to congressional investigators."

"A former senior aide to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) was convicted Thursday after being found guilty of helping to funnel illegal foreign campaign contributions from a Russian national into former President Trump's 2016 campaign."

"18 times Donald Trump's political committees promised worthless rewards for a donation"

Interesting that Trump supporters are worked up about the corruption in the democratic party. This sure seems like some of that relativism that conservatives used to hate.
