Do you guys ever tell stories of the Hobby?

sorry...hijacked the thread for a bit there...no, I don't share my Goddess event and stories...real life is enough fun for me, I don't need to relive the event with my friends, family...

I told my best friend I was seeing an escort because I had to explain why I no longer had disposable income. I haven't dated in a long time, so when I told him his response was, "Ha! I knew you weren't gay!" He brings it up every once in a while to make sure I'm not an addict throwing all my money away, but other than that I don't really talk about it - I'm not the kiss and tell type. It's kind of ironic, since I used to be the good boy and I made fun of him for being a man whore, now he's engaged to a woman with three kids and I'm out bangin' hookers.

God, where did the Norman Rockwell moments of my life go?

If he was your *best* friend then why doesn't he know what you do, isn't that what *best* friends are for? My certainly are.... Originally Posted by dammit

You seem jaded by a lot of the "darkness" some associate with this hobby.....

married guys bother you..people that can't share this outside the hobby bother you.....

Are you sure that what is notactually bothering you isyour feelings about this?

You seem to be looking for all kinds of answers... Maybe the answers are internal?

There is exactly one person outside the hobby who knows I'm involved in it. He was my college roommate, lives in another state, and we've known each other for 38 years. We may speak of it a couple of times a year during a phone conversation. I would never even think of talking about this to other friends, co-workers or relatives. Not a chance.

Welcome to The Hobby. The first rule of The Hobby is: you do not talk about The Hobby. The second rule of The Hobby is: you DO NOT talk about The Hobby!

(my apologies to Tyler Durden)
Hell, when me and REB go to lunch we usually scream out hooker stories at the top of our lungs! I keep waiting for the day when we are talking about BBBJ's and the waiter or waitress goes, "Holy shit, are you guys REB and Big Pimpin?" It's also really funny when we are eating at Luby's and one of the blue-haired ladies hears us say loudly, "Ok, but does she take it up the ass, and does that cost extra?"
