Daenerys Targaren Is One Bad Bitch!

It's killing me! I don't know anyone who has actually read them, so I can't go up to anyone and talk about what's about to happen. I just sit there biting my tongue!

The Wheel of Time got much better after Sanderson took over, so that might not be such a bad thing? Maybe? Eh? Originally Posted by sexxytexxan

So yeah, I'll keep reading Song of Ice and Fire, because I'm fairly invested in the series now these days, but I'm not going to keep my hopes up given how A Feast of Crows and A Dance with Dragons were. Dance making Daenerys so shitty was particularly irksome to me.

TV Daenerys is hotter than I imagined her to be though. Probably because the book Dany is way in the nuclear topic range. Goddamn GRRM = Pedobear in disguise.

Yeah, she's supposed to be, what? 13? All of the younger characters are cast a lot older, though. I can see the logic, though.

I am very happy she is not 13 in the show. I'm also happy she took that other chick with along with the men. That chick is pretty hot as well and always some nice side boob showing.

You want to know how good GRRM can be? Forget all about ASoIF or Dunk and Egg and go read Tuf Voyaging...or Sandkings...

IMO, his ventures into fantasy are just meh...he was so much better when the Labor Day Group used to sit us all down every year and discuss the technical feasibility of building Ringworld, or construct a family tree for a family that commuted to and from work at faster than light speeds...

I would definitely hit that. I doubt we will get to see her naked again. Too bad.

Heh...I'm anxious to see how the audience reacts to their favorite character being not mentioned at all for two seasons!

I would bet they monitor public reaction to chracters, and future scripts will be written to satisfy what the public wants to see.

My two favorite movie adaptations I have seen form Novels was The Carpet Baggers and The Godfather. Both took liberties with the originol writings, and both wre really well accepted.

As good as The Godfather was, it lost some of the grim realism contained in Mario Puzo's writing. One good example is the Garroting of Luca Brazi. In the book, the writing was so expecite that you could smell the shit on the floor as his life dwindled and his bowells emptied. The movie scene was almost anticeptic in comparison.
