I saw it Friday night. I've never been that touched by a movie.
What happened at the theater was a first for me.
There wasn't a peep (other than sniffles) heard during the entire show.
At the end of the show, nobody moved until the last credit was shown & the lights came up.
Even as people where leaving, still not a sound but sniffles.

Chris is a true American Hero. He wasn't in it for glory but to serve his country and fellow soldiers. The men & women who serve deserve so much more than what our government provides. Originally Posted by ERwhynot

Smattering of applause for one of the climactic scenes, other than that not much. I lost it at the end knowing the outcome. I think 95% of the theater didn't know he was murdered.

great movie and a fantastic gun only wish i could have a chanceto shoot a rifle like that.
dont get me wrong i dont do bad i hit a milk bottle at 750 yards last weekend with a an off the shelf rifle and a good scope

I have read the book twice and Eastwood did a great job with the move.
When the movie ended there was complete silence while everybody left the theater.

Great movie. I'd see it again. It's been a long time since lve genuinely felt moved at a movie theater. Great story.

I'm a Iraqi war vet. I was a combat adviser lived with the Iraqis for a year. I can tell you Clint Eastwood gets it. There where times during the movie that I thought I was watching myself. Barely made it to the car before I broke down and cried like a baby. If you see the movie pay attention to when he is home. The war scenes are exciting and we'll done. But the scenes while home are even better.

I was never with a regular infantry unit. This is completely foreign to me. I need to see this movie to understand what snipers do, beyond the obvious.

I wish I could have taken Michael Moore for one night in the A Shau. I can only imagine how much noise that fat ass would make but it would be one time his mouth would be shut.

EZ I will take the desert any day over hot and wet. I'm with you one combat patrol with the Iraqis would have Moore and Rogen pissing their pants and crying for their mommies.
