It's hard to go wrong with a cute gift like that. Kudos for being a gentlemen and appreciating your providers the right way. Xoxo

Yes lingerie gifted that we both can enjoy is always a winner. I imagine your provider ladies treat you really well in return. We appreciate the effort.xoxo

I often bring some lingerie that I'd like to see my date wear. I always let them keep the apparel & that is usually appreciated. I don't expect anything in return other than some good will. If I repeat with a provided it's because I like them. So I try to do something that will make me memorable in a positive way. Originally Posted by WillieWonka69069

I love giving gifts. It gives me as much pleasure as the one receiving the gift. Although I don't expect anything in return, it is nice to see and know that it is appreciated

By the same token, I don't just give a gift to anyone. You have to have become a good friend as well as a person I do business with.

Awkward? For you maybe. The sentiment involved with a gift is seldom returned from someone that is a professional expecting nothing more from you than repeat business.

If you have developed some sort of relationship outside of the business, spend time with her off the clock doing anything then maybe a birthday or holiday gift.

It's a waste of money and energy if she's just someone you pay for her time.

I have received jewelry among other amazing gifts and I think it is a great gesture.
Many thanks to those of you answering honestly. My playdates have earned the right to a special gift.

I have been fortunate to have a few long-term excellent girls. I have given the typical body lotion, perfume, lingerie, Lululemon to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays and holidays. Would it be appropriate to give some inexpensive jewelry like Kendra Scott?

Would like to get some ladies input. Originally Posted by jerryjones

Customers receive gifts usually, not merchants. You don't drop off your electric bill payment and a gift too do you? Should be the same here. Originally Posted by Kickrocks

Obviously no one is obliged to give gifts, it is far from abnormal. I am curious why you seem to think it is abnormal.

My experience is that small gifts to service providers most definately improves service, and makes life more pleasant for both parties.

I have been honored to receive some truly beautiful gifts. Even some nice Kendra Scott pieces which I wear often and enjoy. I also love it when people bring me eggs from their chickens or home made goods. I had a guest who brought me feta cheese and honey from his farm. I swooned.

Little gifts are appreciated by all but the most jaded philistines. Thank you for going out of your way to make us feel special. Originally Posted by Miss Valentina
