Your building may not be lower but the one down the street probably is. Likewise, my ATF may not have lowered her prices but there is someone of her caliber that has lowered her prices.

I own a 198 acre tobacco farm, so as long as people keep using my product I'm okay. I don't use it myself and I cheer everytime a friend kicks the habbit. But if my damn health insurance keeps going up $4,000 per year like it has the last 6 years, I'll soon feel the pinch.

And if I lived in a large city with beautiful women all around me, I might notice things more. But alas, I live in the middle of nowhere and have to travel some distance to get laid.

But, I do not expect or ask the ladies to cut rates, no more than I expect the pizza guy to defer his door bell ringing fee, LOL.

All the post were very good and very informative thanks for your opinions boh pro and con!
Many of you wish not to accept that the economy is bad. Ignore it and it will get worse. Some read far too much into the post grin normal for a site like this.
Yes, the hobby is a luxury, so is diamond rings, watches, and ETC.
But I assure you we do not pay full price!
Some of you bought new cars and I am sure you did not pay list price!
Because I know the car dealers are selling cars with major discounts right now! grin.
I remember once a salesman told me if I was worried about the MPG of a sports car I could not afford the car. He was right I bought a more efficient car! He did not get my sale!
Yes I also agree a 15 minute session for $40.00 is not enough money to put your make on for and some do not!!!
In this case you do very much so get what you pay for 15 min, a lot of guilt and you wonder if you got something off the bed or worse!

What I was implying, suggesting and not scheming to drive prices down was some sexual relief for the players.
"Quality girls offering a discount to increase cash flow and maintain customers satisfaction!"
Specials for 90 min instead of 1-2 hours sessions

I saw a really neat ad for a girl in Florida Ginatrugfe http://lovinggina.com/
She offered her existing clients a $100 off discount if they purchased a coupon for $50.00 today on green dot. WOW that was creative and helped her pay the rent now and help the player have a discounted session later on when he could come up with the rest of the rate!
I do not recommend that for new customer but what a nice Christmas offer!
I am not suggesting anyone do that for new clients, but it was nice for her customers!
My point here is if i am looking for a date and I have only $200-250 to spend it is difficult to look at ads that are for $350 for 2 hours when basically that is less per hour but more money than I can afford!
I am not a cheap Bastard--Just a limited fund bastard LOL

Every coin has at least two sides (plus the edge could be considered a "side" if you look at it that (I do).

Yes, 15 million folks are out of work. But 120 million are working, and many of them are doing well.

Yes, some hobbyists used to playing every week or several times a month, cannot afford to do that right now. But if we hobbyists space out (not that kind of space out) the time between appointments, we can still play at the expected level.

Short time vs 1 hour vs 3 hours vs all night....

Some folks can gain great pleasure in a short while.... some folks can deliver same....

Some folks require an hour or more for pleasure levels, some don't.

All of us (hobbyists and providers) have the ability to make the choices we individually need and the "supply" out there is growing every day.

So, those who want to play long may do so and those who want to (or are willing to do so) may play short.

Me, I go with the flow (even Auntie, on occasion, if that's appropriate) and I try to minimize risk and maximize pleasure. I happen to be comfortable in "my zone" of funding level and occasionally dip lower and occasionally raise my sights.

Threads like these do serve a purpose... for the op, for the responders, and for all in between who glean info into the hobby and into individual preferences and experiences and make their own appropriate conclusions and choices.

I happen to see the economic glass as half-full, not half empty, and I firmly believe that better economic times in general are ahead of, but I see that as the U.S. as a whole, with obvious different and difficult issues based on specific geographic regions on the country.

Y'all try to stay happy out there, now, y'hear.
I also might not have to charge "as much" as I do in order to make up for the missed appointments that = wasted hotel rooms, gas and tolls spent going to another city for a nc/ns.....all of which can be blamed on the OP's fellow hobbyists. Originally Posted by heatherelite

The hobbyist, on the other hand, while out the money for the hotel/gas/tolls/etc. still has some money leftover from the paycheck from his other job.
Its a HOBBY not a right! You don't have to, those that can, do. It's like Golf, you can afford a nice membership somewhere or you can play put put.......Do what you can afford.

I have seen your posts on other boards Iron Worker so I know you are not trying to be an azz lol. It is what it is though....some girls offer incentives and others don't. I don't think it's ever a good idea to give a first time client a discount, because you just never know what is walking in that door or how he will treat you. You don't want to think "Damn I should have charged him double for what I just went through" lol.

I will just be honest...if a guy is clean, polite, and does not try and abuse the situation, he will be the very first to get any special offers...I would never list this on my site though. The ones that are dirty, rough, demanding, do nothing but gripe about services, only allow a 10 min. water break for an all nighter, and don't see anything but a hole to fill, are better left at the rate stated or just left alone lol.

I would think for many ladies our best clients are always the ones getting the best of both worlds....they have earned it by NOT being smelly, late, or constantly ripping every girl apart in a review for the smallest of things!

We all know the economy is bad, but that's no excuse to engage in activities you can't afford in the first place. I have never paid sticker price on a vehicle because I have never owned a brand new car...that's just stupid to pay for something that loses 5k in worth the minute you drive it off the lot. I buy everything I have ever owned cash...or someone else bought it for me lol.

The same guys bit87ing about provider rates are the very same ones paying car notes they can't afford, rather than investing that in a home that increases in value and adds to your net worth. The problem is not just the economy..it's people who have no clue how to invest in the right things. Credit card debt is at an all time high and why? People don't want to wait for what they want!

It has become an era of now now now, rather than actually buying what we can afford. I have never in my life paid a car note..ever! If I can't afford to pay cash, I don't get it. The vehicle I have now was bought and paid for by a client and the one before that, I bought a year old but never used.

I don't think it's always not being able to afford to hobby either, it's about being greedy. Rather than saving to see that $600 dollar girl, too many are not willing to let go of the 3 at 200 they want to see all in the same week lol. Anyone can afford to pay someone's rate if they really want to.

I don't go into a restaurant and gripe about the price of my Lobster...I pay the rate or go elsewhere. I know I can get Lobster at 10 different places at probably different rates, but if I want the atmosphere of the nice Italian place I have to pay their rate.

Do like you do for other expensive things - save up for it. I set aside a small amount of money from each paycheck and over about 1.5 to 2 months I then have enough for a visit. Definitely not like the guys who make visits several times a week but that's way too much money for me to ever spend on this or any other hobby.

For the most part agreed, but see my comments.

I have seen your posts on other boards Iron Worker so I know you are not trying to be an azz lol. It is what it is though....some girls offer incentives and others don't. I don't think it's ever a good idea to give a first time client a discount, because you just never know what is walking in that door or how he will treat you. This is also the very reason you don't see a $600/hr provider the first time. Most in this price range don't have reviews so there is no way you know what you're getting. Since I rarely see a lady more than once (the nature of my business), there is virtually no motivation to see someone out of the $200-$300 range. You don't want to think "Damn I should have charged him double for what I just went through" lol. Likewise, you don't want to think, "Shit, I could have gotten better service for 1/3 the price."

I will just be honest...if a guy is clean, polite, and does not try and abuse the situation, he will be the very first to get any special offers...I would never list this on my site though. Likewise, the lady gets my best whenever she has impeccable TCB along with service. The ones that are dirty, rough, demanding, do nothing but gripe about services, only allow a 10 min. water break for an all nighter, and don't see anything but a hole to fill, are better left at the rate stated or just left alone lol. I am always clean, respectful, freshly showered, shaved, freshly brushed teeth, freshly gargled, shampooed, the whole ball of wax. Not all ladies are as fresh as I am. (This is one reason I get pissed when the lady doesn't show. I've gone to all this trouble to be clean & fresh, and she doesn't even have the courtesy to show up!!)

I would think for many ladies our best clients are always the ones getting the best of both worlds....they have earned it by NOT being smelly, late, or constantly ripping every girl apart in a review for the smallest of things! I don't do reviews and rarely see the same lady twice.

I agree. The only thing I owe is my monthly mortgage and it's paid way ahead. People should purchase only what they can afford. However, in this economy, I must say I'm surprised more ladies aren't offering specials. It's not my business...I'm just saying I'm surprised. A couple of years ago, there were many more specials that appeared on the boards, IMHO, especially in the Weekend forums.

The same guys bit87ing about provider rates are the very same ones paying car notes they can't afford, rather than investing that in a home that increases in value and adds to your net worth.
