Encounter: robbed by man with gun - Taylor in Amarillo

I agree, I’ve seen her enough to a few things. Don’t hit it bare lmao, and also she has never seemed the type to rob anyone. I’ve been to her place multiple time as I’m sure many others have, and she does keep some aggressive pit bull protection but I’ve never left missing anything other a load and a crinkled Benjamin. I will never see anyone at the hotel I suspect this took place at, you’re liable to get robbed for an unrelated issue. I think Jason’s story checks out. I’ll see Taylor again, I think this was an isolated incident.

But yet, the OP stated she didn’t want the door bolted.

We also haven’t been told what her actions were during the robbery.

I’m the OP, the cover story is theoretically possible but unlikely. It’s unsurprisingly the only plausible cover up story.

I call her (from an out of state area code) at midnight (her last ad at the time was two days prior) , she doesn’t pick up this starts a text exchange:

{staff edit-CK-- removed personal text conversation per guidelines prohibiting such}

edit: summary is she asks if we’ve met I say no and she asks my race and I say white. \edit

When I get the room number get there and the door is cracked. I walk in and it’s a double room double queen beds and she is lying on her hip facing the door on the bed furthest away wearing a black slip dress.
I walk in, turn around and close the door. I don’t lock the bolt. She did not tell me not to lock the bolt… I made that mistake on my own. she gets up and greets me as I set the 100 on the nightstand. I compliment her dress she tells me it’s new and says she has to use the restroom. As she’s in there she tells me she doesn’t have a condom and asks if I do. I say no. She asks what I want to do and suggests we could go to a nearby store to grab one. I tell her I’d prefer the bbbj. She comes out of the restroom checks her phone that’s sitting on the entertainment desk and responds to a text that had just come in with what must have been a single word reply. At this point I’m naked and put a pillow on the ground. And she gets down and with her dress on starts and that’s when the guy aggressively opens the door. She hops up on the bed and doesn’t say a word and looks away the whole time. I looked at her several times throughout and she wouldn’t face me in that moment.

I think it was a setup from the start. I have an out of state area code on the phone. She asks if I have seen her before. She asks my race and I say white. When I get there she mentions no condom and suggests I leave the room. When the door is unbolted she sends a quick text akin to GO.

I was getting robbed no matter what. Even if that door is bolted he aggressively opened it. Meaning if it’s bolted he’s waiting outside yelling shit waiting for me.

So best case scenario is her negligence gets me robbed, she thinks she can pop a customer off before he gets back, and she was wrong. In that case since it’s not even a planned robbery it’s a crime of opportunity by a guy who happens to come back to his room, which is obviously grossly negligent on her end, and she’s lucky she didn’t get a random killed.

But it’s FAR FAR more likely she knew prior to me getting there that I was getting robbed. Even if she didn’t know the guy it’s likely she set this up intentionally for him, let’s say that he pressured her into it as we’re texting. That’s awful. And it’s much more likely she knows this man real well.
Occam’s razor. Smells like a setup. Good on you for sharing.
Sorry this happened to you man.
