They're made from polyisoprene, which is the "rubber" in latex condoms, but it's chemically synthesized instead of made from plant sap like natural latex.
Natural latex has a bunch of other chemicals from plants and people tend to develop latex allergies to them. There's also probably some better quality control of the material properties as well.
Beyond Seven condoms are pretty good as well.
There are also some polyurethane condoms that are non-latex. They may be more sensitive, but they aren't as stretchy and may tend to slip off more easily. There are also some claims they break more often.
I am always experimenting with the condoms they call "top of the line." I have come to believe, from many who use them and talk about them, that Trojans are the best and safest. I am now hearing there are so many more coming out and I am a bit apprehensive to try something new because what if it fails and breaks. This is my biggest concern! I rather a condom be thick than be unsafe, unreliable and that may easily break-especially when I sometimes love rough play!
What I look for in a condom is:
1. Safety and reliability- I don't want it to break-testing statistics have to be very good!
2. Comfort- I want to be able to still feel the warmth of a nice hard cock.
3. I prefer spremicidal and lubricated ones because it adds protection to my protection.
4. Ribbed, etc. don't really do much for me so that is no matter
5. I do not like lubed condoms that are heat activated- it does irritate.
6. No Cheapy condoms-that goes without saying! LOL
7. Always! Always! Check the expiration date, in Texas' summer heat don't leave them in the car! Chances are they will break.
8. I like to use extra lube to ensure non-breakage.
9. Although some condoms come in flavors- I have tried a few and I find I still don't like the taste. If I go back and forth between sex and BBBJ's I just rinse the cock with a warm washcloth and spray my mouth with a sprits of Binaca and find it rather refreshing and helpful in not tasting the latex, etc.
So according to my specific needs in a condom, especially the safety concerns of not having them break and being very strong- any suggestions? Thanks!
