Why Texas?

Yes so true in regards to other states but the sales tax and property tax only has to do with hobbyist with that being low the men to have more disposable income spend . I did give the OP more detailed information coming from my point of view in private didn't want to seem like I knew too much.

I think it's exactly the opposite of what others say -- Texas has a bad economy. Lots of workers who don't have degrees; low paying jobs for those without professional degrees; limited economic opportunity for women compared to other States; highest levels of child poverty; highest levels of citizens without insurance; etc. Therefore more people willing to enter risky and arguably less desirable jobs. We're just a slightly higher wage maquiladoras zone of Mexico that speaks more English for all practical purposes.

Texas breeds a different kind of woman!
