Why no Black Men?

I didn't point my finger at anyone.. so I'm going to let it go..have a great day.
Not trying to start a argument but you said providers who don't see black men aren't allowed to because of their pimp... That's what I was pointing out. There are plenty of well known providers on this site who don't see black men. Its just about what you are comfortable with, doesn't mean you have a pimp. Originally Posted by b@ileythepistol

I guess one reason I ask this question is, why advertise it to the public because it seems unsightly when an ad on Backpage says "no black men". Originally Posted by bp6570

I'm embarrased to say that when I first saw this on ads, I went straight for the stereotype that black guys are really big i.e. long and that perhaps providers did not want to deal with that. Yes, yes, I've watched one too many pornos...
As KCQuestor points out, this thread: http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=416595 has some good information.

As astutely pointed out by Lilianna in the thread referenced, no matter what the reason a lady may offer, she is often accused a racist for having the policy, regardless.

I can almost set my watch by the frequency of these threads. I have come to term these threads "War Games", as "The only winning move is not to play (post)".

Hell, I wondered myself until the last thread. So, I guess they do serve some value.

Most of the black dudes I hang out with, I mean, I love 'em to death but if I was a female I would not want to be with them! Some of the shit they tell me they've done to women... It always starts out "Man, this bitch last night dog..." LOL
I have a friend that has this preference. She just does not feel comfortable. It's nothing personal she just wants to give the person she is with the best experience possible and if she is uncomfortable (for whatever reason) than she would rather politely decline.

Another reason is that most are very well hung and she is tiny in every sense of the word. The dimensions just do not fit well.
lol....there pimps will not let them date black men....
Thats all it is... Originally Posted by SexyKaylen

There are plenty of providers who don't see black guys who don't have a pimp and they all have their own reasons. None of us can speak for them, only ourselves.

Ms. Elena, I respect your answer & agree that you can see who you want to see & should be free to make those decisions. In your case, I would believe you have thought this out & made a decision based on experience & reason.

I guess one reason I ask this question is, why advertise it to the public because it seems unsightly when an ad on Backpage says "no black men". Secondly, what happens if a gentleman ignores this in an ad, calls & makes an appointment & is black when he shows up? How can one be sure that a white guy isn't going to rob or otherwise harm a lady?

Seems to be many holes in this line of thinking. Some of the answers I've seen sound very questionable at the least. Originally Posted by bp6570

If a guy ignores the "no black guys" part of an ad and gets through screening without a lady knowing, then he shouldn't feel bad or get pissy when he's turned away at the door.

Of course a white guy can rob a provider, hell any guy can rob or at least try to rob a provider.
I'm going to shut up now..lol
I took your comment as tough in cheek others took it seriously..

Why do they put "no black men" in their ad???? Maybe so black guys don't bother contacting them so that the providers AND the clients time isn't wasted?

I have no opinion in the matter, but it seems pretty clear why they would put it in their ads.

Also another reason why white ladies won't see black guys... They may lose upscale white regulars. I have heard this as a reason several times, happens a lot in Texas. There is a large goup of guys there that will not see ladies who see black gents.
