Question to the hobbyist.....

I think the 3 call system works well. It's been the industry standard for nearly all the dates I've had. Sometimes the provider will tell me the hotel before, but rarely the room number. There is one provider that I've seen multiple times that will tell me everything at one time, but it's because she knows me well and trusts me.

I do like to know the area of the city she will be staying in way before the date. Sometimes it's relevant to determine if I wish to see her or not. I don't go to shitty motels in shady areas of the city, and sometimes when I travel for business I'm without transportation because I will be forced to share a rental car with a coworker. If I'm taking a taxi to a date, I don't want to go somewhere 45 minutes away.

The three call works for me. I do want to know what part of town so I can plan my drive and schedule. If you are in Dallas the difference between Plano and 75 and Oak Cliff might bring up other issues. With the crazy traffic in Dallas, it is good to give a general area (Galleria) and give specifics when they get there. As far as needing to know the specific hotel a day in advance, that's not smart to do for anyone's sake.

When I travel for work, such as when I was in LR for a few months, I am not familiar with the area at all so when a lady tells me she is in west LR or go to the intersection of A & B street I did not have the slightest idea where that is and I cannot put an intersection in my phone. However several ladies gave me the name of a restaurant, Movie Theater or some other prominent building in the area that I could punch in my phone and get to then I would call her for further directions i.e. the incall address/name . I still think the 3 call system works best you just have to tweak it a little based on the situation. You just need to keep up with the time and give the guy something he can punch into Google map so he will not be riding around lost.

About the time? If our appointment is say for 1pm, what time do you want me at the intersection or staging area calling/texting for actual location?
