The point we were discussing was the headline.
You can see we never made it further because it infuriated bb that the "huff" reported what the officials said about the motive. bb said....well you can read it yourself. He didn't give a shit how it ended. He couldn't get past the start.
He was pissed because they wouldn't editorialize at the beginning and you got pissed when they did at the end.
You can work it out with him.
You sound sensitive about trump getting "honorable mention" in this story. Yes, they took a shot at trump at the end of the story like you mentioned. This story wasn't about trump, it was about motive. The easily seen bias had nothing to do with the main subject of the story.
The bias doesn't change the fact trump frequently uses offensive rhetoric towards many people in many situations. In this case blaming trump doesn't help the situation.
Too bad trump does nothing to help the situation.
WOW. That's a great little tirade on the fine upstanding journalistic integrity of the reporter of this "piece" from the HuffPo.
Unfortunately it falls flat on it's face with the cute little editorial thrown in towards the end.
Journalistic integrity and reporting on "facts" alone my ass. It's just another in a long line of HuffPo Trump hit pieces and trying to deflect from this incident to the POTUS as well as guns and racism. They couldn't help themselves and it shows their partisan bias through and through.
If no motive is known, then why call out Trump for not citing himself as blame. I call bullshit on your protection of this "cub reporter".
And as for the earlier reference to calling out Trump for misnaming the city, it was and still is right with the headlines as an associated story. It would have been easy to mistake it as part of this one. Originally Posted by eccielover
