And regarding tats, I wouldn't mind if the tat is on some place like the arms like in this case. But it is a no no if it is on or around the breast, kitty, lower back, ass etc which are the prime areas of focus during BCD.

And I do appreciate this girl's honesty for posting a pic with the tat alongwith the airbrushed one.

I don't think he should've called her out in an open forum. Might hurt her feelings and maybe it should be left in the locker room or mens lounge whatever....imho....being a woman who also has tattoos, I don't believe in all the airbrushing. I do however cover mine somewhat tasteful.
LazLong.... I know you say Most.. But there are still some photographers who do very little in photoshop...
Yes, I will blur a face or Tattoo if asked.. But I won't photoshop it out..
Sure I'll photoshop out a blemish or pimple, because they are not always there..
No, I won't make you look 20 years younger or 40 pounds thinner.. That is false advertising in my opinion and I won't ruin my reputation (Like that means anything) doing that type of thing...
My Work stands on its own.. Like it or Hate it.. I do it for the hobbiest as well as the ladies..
I hate walking into a session with a girl who's pics look nothing like she does when she answers the door as much as the next guy, I don't want any of you guys cussing that Damn DFWRaven for editing pics to make the girls look like that just fell out of a Playboy...
I'll get off my soapbox now and return you to your regularly scheduled perversions....

At the risk of asking the overly obvious "next question," if she looks great in both pictures, why is there a need for her to deceive us about the nature of her tattoo in picture one?

This just reminded me how easy it would be to mislead should she not have been honest with pics (and some ladies here are NOT honest with pics).

If youve got tats, show them proudly. Many men are way into that.
Saves tons of hassle if they feel misled.

I would believe most of us here are fairly intelligent gentleman. We can usually differentiate a 'glamour' type or completely airbrushed shot from a non or slightly retouched photo. I've noticed a handful of providers that use a certain photography agency and all of the pictures are way too perfect and everyone looks orange. The photos are beautiful, but in all reality, I know they're way overdone and the girl doesn't remotely look like that picture. I try and keep my expectations of what a provider looks like to a reasonable level and I'm usually not disappointed.

I expect the lady to look similar to the photos presented. If you're not going to do your makeup and hair as you did for your photos, don't be surprised when I say "you're not what I was expecting" and I leave.

Conversely, the providers that use unretouched non-professional pics get more calls from me because the odds are more likely that they will answer the door like that. I had a terrible session with a girl named Brittany (former S1 girl), but her hair looked beautiful and her makeup was perfect and she had a great dress on, just like in her pro pictures. I was polite and excused myself because it wasn't working, but she did look great.

Regarding the pics from OP- upon seeing that huge tattoo, I would have left immediately.

A guy should not feel bad about leaving when the provider does not look like the pictures that were presented to draw him in. A few of those incidents and providers will present more lifelike pix. Flip side of the coin "ohh I'm sorry, that doesn't look like Benjamin Franklin? A little photoshopping should turn that Hamilton into a Benjamin."
Anyone else?

The answer may be even more simple.

The tatoo may be on her other arm and the photo has simply been flipped.
