A.O.Demon has retired

Most everyone eventually retires. Some are forced, others are weary of the load, some are ill and simply can't do it anymore. The lucky few do it on their own terms. I hope she's the latter. Good luck. Originally Posted by txcwby6

Some of these girls need to retire from retiring.
An example of a great threAD with the beneficiary of the threAD never even stroking a key in the threAD.

I asked for permission to use her pictures as my avatar and got her permission at 5:07 a.m. when I got up for a drink of water.

A.O. posted her ad yesterday and she has not retired yet and there is nothing wrong and there is no contradiction with the retirement announcements by her or by me.

Whether she keeps her account open and visits the site this morning does not contradict the retirement announcement.

So, even if she actually does something that indicates that she is not retired yet, what is the problem? Sales get extended all the time. One day only specials also. Sold out merchandise gets rain checks. So, what if she is just fulfilling appointments booked prior to retirement? Or, retirement means something that is different from Y'All's definition?

When a live show or musical performance ended as scheduled at a theater, would you fault the performers if they gave encore performances once, twice, or three times?

I'd like to take this opportunity to announce my retirement.

Hey, everybody! It's good to be back!

But seriously...

This silly-ass OP has gone from posting a retirement announcement for an unretired provider to debating the meaning of 'retired.' Jeez Louise...

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Hobbyists need to stay out of providers' shit. That includes posting for them. If you wanna post for them, wear a hat made of fake purple fur witcha featha ane it.

Regardless, it's the hobby...not brain surgery. Life goes on with or without her here at Eccie.

But, it is a solid strategy. Her future NCNS episodes can be written off to her retirement.

Like she's stated before, she doesn't need to do this, she does it for fun. Hey, retirement announcements ARE fun!

Low Volume Provider // (meaning I see a maximum of 2 or 3 friends per week)

If you believe she's so awesome, and assume she has a loyal following, the above statement doesn't leave much room for new suitors anyway. I think the OP just posted this to draw attention to his avatar change.

A few days ago, A.O. told me that I can post here about her then pending retirement.

I am announcing her retirement on her behalf.

why cant she do it on her own??
why did she tell you that you could post it??
what are you getting in return for doing so??

===>pmd: true, but someone posting ads soliciting appts would seem to contradict a retirement announcement from that person.
which is fine, but that's what it is!!

Right now, this thread has stalker written all over it, and will be watched.

As a reminder:

#17 - "Cyber Stalking" is a term that refers to the act of following another member around online. This may include persistent PMing of the other party, repeated ISOs about the other party, or excessive bumping of reviews or posting in threads about the other individual, whether it be positive or negative information posted. In any of these cases, whether staff deems that the behavior has crossed the line into cyber-stalking, or the "stalked" party complains to staff about the alleged behavior, staff will take the necessary steps to make it stop. Please avoid becoming involved in this type of conduct.

I don't understand the point of announcing a retirement to begin with. Retire = stop responding, change #, close account...

I agree with you. I would just delete my accounts, delete my e-mail accounts, get rid of my hobby phone, that way people can't reach me. It's simpler that way. I don't understand the point of retirement posting.

Oh yes you do Samantha, you're just too nice to say it. I however, am not too nice.

It's to drum up the "oh gosh, don't go, you're still on my list to see" responses.

however, due to the fact that the provider posted an ad yesterday and hasn't appeared in her "retirement" thread, has this entire topic stinking of "WTF?"

Keep it simple, folks. Hobby = hobby. Not anything deeper than that.
The problem is that you are giving out wrong information. If she wants people to know has retired let her take 45 seconds to tell people. You are acting like a love sick puppy dog.
