They were unescorted and arrested and charged with Unlawful Entry. This is the same crime most of those who entered on Jan 6 are charged with.

There is a distinct difference between breaking and entering while chanting 'hang them' and attempting to overthrow the government and simply breaking and entering.
That's why there are three degrees of murder. Planning and killing someone in cold blood is not treated the same as someone's death due to your negligence. Yes, both are bad, both are a crime, but one weighs much more than the other. That isn't to say that one shouldn't be a crime, they are similar, but not the same thing
