Are you jealous Satin? This is a side I haven't seen before
I agree with Amber...When I screen my clients, I turn into a detective. I make sure both client and provider, emails, phone number, etc are legit. Only time I use employment is if the provider never respond to my emails. For instance, their are some well known providers who don't respond to client references or they take days to email back.

This is really great info for a newbie such as myself. I've only got one reference (at least I think she'd be a reference), so I'm still working my way into the big leagues. There are so many stunning women that I just can't wait to see, but I understand the need for safety and security. I'd rather jump through the hoops than be with someone who isn't completely comfortable. (Or as comfortable as reasonably possible.)

P411 is a great option, but frankly I'm just not keen on dropping 80+ for a verification service. Hopefully in time I'll be able to get enough cred to get by without that. Of course not dropping the money for that probably makes me look like a cheapskate to some which I'm sure isn't the best for the rep, but oh well.
Our screening requirements are clearly stated in our web site. One thing we look for even from 411 clients is recent references and OKs from reputable providers that we know screen well
So how would you go about verifying clients who are traveling internationally? Or do you just not see any newbies or guys who are UTR?

I feel bad when you post stuff like this Lana. I wish I could help you. The line is rawn in the sand honey. Trust your instincts and verify, verify, verify! It always amazed me how the big money guys would not hesitate to send their articles of incorporation and offer ID to you to make an appt, and the guy who washes dishes thinks he's all that and tried to dodge screening.

Lana,

There are several of us from the ASPD days that dropped off the radar when ASPD went away. I started seeing an UTR lady and she has now moved up north. I am back on the board and wonder how I can see some of you lovely ladies without having my past history to fall back on.

I would bet that Sarah Michelle Bell (my first) wouldn't remember me, or even the last lady I saw on ASPD.

Hopefully I can get connected again! Maybe at one of the poker events.

It's very wise to screen. I begrudgingly accept the fact I won't see most providers because of the screening requirements, but I can wholly appreciate why they are there.
I ask for:

Name:
When I check with your references they want to know who you are.

Phone Number:
Cross reference with your 2 Recent provider references to make sure they have the same number and it's not someone sharing an account. I have run into guys that share handles. Most providers know you by your phone number.

2 Recent Provider References:
They have to be reputable providers. No BP providers who don't have an email or ECCIE account.

Is this too much? It seems the same as what everyone else is asking but guys still try and say that we're asking for too much information.
