Ladies!!!! When are you going to tour Ohio?

As to Atlanta. . .why bother, it is worse than Ohio. At least we don't have tired, cranky providers that are overpriced. They can keep their peaches. Originally Posted by ANONONE

Hmmmm. . .

Thanks for the tip, BCG!

That little corner of the world is looking like a "must see" destination this summer. Maybe I will buy you an adult beverage or three, BCG, if the stars align and I manage to get down there.

I know I have to visit Paducah, KY later this summer, which gets me closer to that general region. If I just extend my trip I could probably see that doll you elude to, as well as our new friend Miss Bliss. Originally Posted by ANONONE

Dayton also has a minor league team and a few attractions. Originally Posted by ANONONE

My only regret is spending only one day there. There's easily enough museum to justify a couple days' visit.

I like OHIO. It's like the TEXAS of the North....so many great cities in one state: Cleveland, Cincinnati, Dayton, Toledo, Columbus.....they are all great. Not only does Ohio have THEE best amusement park in the world, but they also have more than 1 great amusement park...not to mention the very first WENDY's restaurant, the FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME and more.

I forgot to mention: Akron and perhaps Youngstown as other side choices, but the main cities are good. Sure not every trip is worthy, but Ohio's good enough to keep it as a mainstay on my tour schedule for a number of years.

If one is willing to travel to Memphis, why would Pittsburgh be out of range? There are some real lovelies in Pittsburgh.

After seeing what Tia had to say about Ohio, I am seriously considering a stop there in late July after I visit DC. It's a very strong possibility. I will put out some feelers and see what happens.

Actually, I have met some really great hobbyists from Ohio...Columbus and Cleveland. They came to a GTG that was hosted in Pittsburgh...yes, they actually drive to PIT for a social.

I grew up in the Akron area in the 70's and one thing for sure if you love football and rock and roll and want to see it all that part of Ohio is the place to be as it has both Hall of Fames within about 60 miles of each other.
Columbus is very much like Austin in that both are capitals of their states and have probably the two most signature schools in the countryplus they are very much alike
If you are in it for natural scenery the SE part of the state is the spot.
I could go on and on.
I may be living in Texas now and do love it here but my heart will always belongto
OH -- IO lol

Hot dang! I totally forgot about Cedar Point Amusement Park, that would be on my list for sure as I am a total coaster junkie. That Air Force museum sounds interesting as well. I don't dance in any clubs, so no worries there. I'm a private dancer, I would only make appointments through this sight and it would be in a hotel if I was traveling, very discreet. Thank you for all the helpful information though Anonone. I could catch a Reds or Indians game too if I went during baseball season or a Buckeyes game during football season, I love sports! Oh Ohio you just got moved up on my list!
