Seems like a lot of sites piggyback off the ads posted on Backpage and they might compile the ads listed under a phone number --- lots of sites, including, sites that pretend to uncover sting ops (escortbusts.com) and other sites that post up fake "resumes" for escorts. These sites may or may not be owned by Backpage but I'm sure they all depend on ads posted on Backpage itself.

So, not moot.
Gals will see BP down and look for other sites to list on.
