Testing

I use my own PCP often. However, Planned Parenthood was $250. for full testing the one time I used them. Never use them again because of the STD check costs.

It's been several years since I have had to use any of their services, but I assumed they still offered a sliding fee scale if not free to women/men who qualify.

I believe they are not receiving funding anymore and being in Austin a few weeks ago, down on South Congress, there were a couple of workers taking surveys and asking for donations for Planned Parenthood.

That could by why they are charging so much.

Nevertheless, there seems to be a few options for those who need it.

I suspect that Providers may see a lower fee than hobbiestts at PP given the likely difference in the amount of reported/taxable income.

The test is $25. You get the results in 30 minutes. The main clinic is near Stemmons & Inwood.
