So i have been in the hobby since i was 17 years old. About 10 years now. Never had unprotected sex with a escort but have received bbbj on several occasions. My question is for providers and fellow hobbyist. I am now married and i have been with my S/O for years now i get test often but usually pay out of pocket cause i dont want my insurance company to note the test. in my years ive never caught anything. but as of recent i am having more bbbj sessions. is there a real risk to this? has an hobbyist had to face there S/O with an std or caught one from bbbj its scares me everytime that i may have gotten something then my neg result is always nice and reassuring but the stress leading up is crazy! There's a difference between bbbj's and unprotected intercourse. The risks aren't nearly the same. Never said you couldn't get something from oral but the risk is considerably lower than from intercourse.

According to the site below, 50 percent or higher of the adult population has hsv 1. If you don't have it, or have it yet, you might look for a different hobby.

You have to assume the risks if you are going to hobby. That means catching anything from a lady's mouth, what you might catch from kissing, going daty, to possibly contracting something even if using condoms (they do break).

I've been hobbying quite a while now. Longer than 10 years or so. Luckily, have not caught anything from anyone. *knock on wood* ... I do keep up with who is doing what in my local area from bbfs providers, guys into risky activity as with ladies, travelers visiting who might have seen a risky client, and many other factors when deciding to see a provider I have never met before. I tend to stick to a couple regular gals (I really trust their screening and selectiveness), while doing much research on a lady if I have not before I go in. Have to do the best we can.
