What makes this interesting is the fact that the gentlemen can't tell the difference between the ladies who see no other choice and the ladies in OFS's category #1. I agree there are 2 different kinds as well. I have been asked by some I have known in the past "how do you do this sober"? Because I like the attention, and I like to know what goes on around me! There are actually two very distinctly different groups of Providers:

(1) Independent businesswomen who choose of the own free will that they want to be Providers. They run their own business, make their own decisions and Provide because that is what THEY want to do for whatever reason they so desire, be it to make money, to make money while at the same time fulfilling a fantasy life, or simply because they want to. Being the "high priced call girl" is one of the most common female fantasies ... some actually do make this fantasy their reality.

(2) Women who are forced, coerced, pimped, enslaved, or to support an addiction. This program is primarily aimed at these women and it's a very good thing. I don't think anyone on here condones this and these women can benefit from a program like this.

Attack me if you wish, but I think very few women begin providing because they have a number of other career options they can actually support themselves comfortably with when they begin providing. And just like many civilian jobs that we all might not be satisfied with, they stick with this career because it does provide many with a comfortable, if not lucrative living. Later in life, a civilian may want to opt out of his particular career and during the course of their career, they may have learned other skills that easily open doors in other areas. Let's say a girl has very few options at 20 years old, and begins providing. At thirty years old things may slow down for her and she wants out of the business. Unless she attended school for the past ten years, what new career options does she have? There are exceptions to everything, but it can be very hard for a woman to leave this industry.

The line between #1 and #2 is far more blurred than many realize.

I believe that woman deserve and need support, advice, and unconditional love during the time they are in this industry. They deserve to be safe and treated with respect, regardless of how far to the left or right of the line they stand.

That some clients (a la WakeUp) treat you as though they are nothing more then a hole, worthless once time creeps on, is very difficult to deal with day in and day out. Regardless of what is going on your your personal life, it is the clients like this who make this job a difficult one that no woman will enjoy for more than a year or two.... then it becomes a drudgery.

I think that having (non-religion based) options to get assistance exiting this industry is a positive thing. I would love to put together something that would support women through the entire journey....
