As for the Court documents ...
.. it seems that some of the mullets were dismissed from the case ... and others have "qualified" to fit a "class" description in the order authorizing a "class action" ....
... given that apparently they paid $25,000 for their "schooling" and the jurisdictional minimum is $75,000 ... they have to be in the class to maintain their federal law suit.... unless they have some "federal" claim. Right now it seems a "diversity" action based on state law. The Judge's PARTIAL denial of a summary judgment and a PARTIAL GRANTING OF A SUMMARY JUDGMENT in favor of the school and trump outlined his findings in a reasonable manner AND ONLY found that there was an "issue of fact" on the allegations ... with a bifurcated trial on the damages if anyone was found liable. It looks like 4-5 former students were suing ... in the group .. which amounts to roughly $100,000 to $150,000 in actual damages ... plus attorney fees and costs.
Trump is paying his lawyers more than the claims are worth .... and I heard him say the other day he won't settle, because that just encourages others to file a suit .....
.. same philosophy on not paying kidnappers and pirates!
