Again with the discount topic. UGH Your basic rate is just that, a basic rate. As some of the guys like to say, "You're not paying for an act, you're paying for the time."

Let's keep our focus here people, this thread is not about $100 pussy or whether ladies charge too much. Feel free to start a thread about that subject, but trust me, that horse has been beaten to death and it won't change many people's minds. I know by the time a thread hits the second page, it has typically veered completely off topic, so I'd like to bring it back a bit.

The question is whether the Requests and ISO forum in KC can ever become that, a place where people (male and female) can post a request for a specific fantasy or type of session and get serious responses. To me it appears to have devolved into a place where 95% of the inquiries are guys asking if anyone has seen a BP girl who's not on Eccie. Now that's a very legitimate and appropriate question, but as KC Questor brought up not long ago, it would be nice to have a place where you could ask whether any ladies are available on certain dates or times, whether they offer specific fantasies, if they're in various parts of town, etc. I believe SG and other ladies have even posted requests from time to time, so it can work both ways. Since the exchange of information is one of the most valuable features of this site, it would be nice if this forum could be better utilized.

My contention is it's unlikely to happen because our community is too small, not enough ladies are actively engaged in discussions and to many people choose to not participate in a civil or positive manner. There's been some good points made so far, but I'd be interested in hearing other ladies and gents thoughts.

+1 on the post, lakecat. It would be a nice addition if the R&ISO section could be used for such purpose. As you stated, seems like many of the guys (especially the newbies) use BP to hunt and ECCIE to verify. Why not try and use ECCIE for both? And then add P411 in the mix to make the connection even smoother.

I agree with Lakecat that the most effective and efficient use of the request forum would be guys or girls seeking each other with similar needa and wants, but can you imagine the flak someone would get if they asked for the best TS provider or a provider that did strap-ons?! They'd be heckled into submission and never post again!
I think every forum in every region has people that love to post snotty comments just to be funny and feel superior. There's no way around that, I believe. Too bad, because things could work so much more smoothly with a little more understanding from people.

Listen, everything that lakecat says makes perfect sense to me.

However we are always going to get the smartass or silly discount questions from some.

So I say, post what you want, ignore the snotty comments (they are from faceless people sitting @ a keyboard, do you really care what their thoughts are?).

Understand there will be snotty comments from both guys and girls...but who cares, all it talkes is a respond from that one lady that is interested to hit the gold mine

And for whatever it is worth, the KC forum is fairly benign compared to other citites...so I am all for changes, but don't let what a few say here, in anyway, change how you use Eccie to find what you want

Part of the problem may be a perception issue. Here's what I mean. I see 59 posts in the ISO/Requests forum in the past two weeks. Of those, I count thirteen that are actual requests for services, rather than an ISO for details on a specific girl or ad (not counting one who was looking to sell old Playboys).

Of those, only ONE (the last one, about Topeka massage parlors) had any meaningful or useful responses posted in the forum. Some of the others had responses posted, but at best they were "Do a search" and at worst they were jokes or taunts. Most of them had no responses in the forum at all.

Does that mean that none of them got any responses at all? We don't know. They could have gotten private messages and we would never know. Even that previously mentioned "$100" request could have turned up plenty of ladies who were willing to go visit the guy, and we'd never know.

So, not only are legitimate requests only a small portion of the total posts in the forum (22% of posts), but they don't APPEAR to garner any real results. Perhaps more people would try this method if the original poster would return to his post to say "Thanks to the offline responses I did find what i was looking for, and a good time was had by all."

Basically, I agree with lakecat that the problem is the smaller KC market. We don't have a huge pool of ladies who are competing for business like the do in Dallas. Until guys find that request posts have a result, there is not much incentive to make them.

EDIT: Note that these numbers are only for the ISO/Requests forum. They don't include posts like this one right here in Coed Discussions which seems to have worked exactly what we would want.

So I guess, I go back to my previous above post.....post what you are looking for, knowing that we have a small base of providers
who are checking out this forum.

However things are what they are...doesn't mean they can't/won't get better...and I hope and will support that they do.

But in the meantime, some great thoughts in this thread...but don't let the actions of a few dictate how any of us use these forums.
